By BBN Staff: Police have issued an official report on the murder of the man that was found inside a hotel in San Pedro.
According to authorities, they responded to a report at the Central Park Hotel in San Pedro Town around 11:18 AM yesterday, and upon arrival, they observed the lifeless body of a male person with a large cut wound to the throat area, apparent stab wound to the left lower abdomen, and stab wound to the left foot.
The body of the man was identified as Christopher Meigan, 21, a Belizean Chef of Caye Caulker Village.
Initial investigation reveals that on September 27, 2018, about 9:30 p.m., a room was booked at the hotel that was shared by Meighan and two other persons. On September 28, 2018, Mustak Miah, 33, the Bangladesh Supervisor of the hotel went into the room and discovered the dead body.
Meigan’s body now awaits a post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating.
