Orange Walk man arrested for drug trafficking

By BBN Staff:  Pascual Pineda, 55, a resident of Orange Walk Town was arrested yesterday for the crime of drug trafficking.

According to reports, Pineda was driving in his white pick-up truck in Santa Cruza Village, Orange Walk when he was stopped by police.

When authorities conducted a search on his vehicle, they found two parcels wrapped in black plastic bags containing a total of 1582 grams of marijuana.

As a result, he was arrested and charged for the offense of drug trafficking.
