John Saldivar congratulates Cayo Police for Crime Reduction  

Staff: The Minister of National Security, John Saldivar yesterday publicly congratulated the police formations from the Cayo District via his personal Facebook page.  

Saldivar noted that the police formations from Belmopan, Benque Viejo and San Ignacio/ Santa Elena were successful with their operation ‘Clampdown’.  

According to Saldivar, the formations together achieved a 50 percent reduction in major crimes for the month of September.  

Saldivar encouraged the men and women of the Belize Police Department to keep up the good work.
