The day is celebrated with official ceremonies, fireworks and cultural presentations in Taiwan.

The Taiwanese President said she was grateful for the support Belize has shown her country throughout the years.
Belize and Taiwan established diplomatic ties in 1989 and have enjoyed strong bilateral relations ever since.
