Belize City police search for suspect after cab driver stabbed 

Staff: Police in the old Capital are investigating a stabbing incident that left one man injured. 

According to reports, last night around 10:55, police responded to an incident on Gentle Avenue, Belize City and upon arrival, they observed Rockson Odiete,51, a Nigerian taxi driver suffering from several stab wounds to the body. 

Initial investigation revealed that about 10:30 p.m., while Odiete was conducting his normal taxi services an altercation ensued between him and a male passenger who inflicted the wounds to him. 

Police are investigating.
