GOB cautions against fake social media accounts of Minister Erwin Contreras 

Staff: The Ministry of Economic Development, Petroleum, Investment, Trade and Commerce notes that fraudulent Instagram and Facebook accounts have been created to impersonate the Erwin Contreras. 

A release from the Government of Belize says that the public is informed that these accounts do not belong to Minister Contreras and are in no way associated with the Ministry.  

“Any activity or information originating from these fake profiles constitutes fraud,” the release further states. 

The release ends by saying that the Ministry does not support this and hereby advises the public to not accept any requests from the pages and to report the accounts.
