Police investigating death of Benque Viejo man.  

Staff: Victor Cowo, 23, reported to police that on October 4, he was at his grandmother’s residence in Benque Viejo when he heard noise coming from his uncle’s home.  

Cowo said that he went to his uncle, Pedro Pan’s home in front of his grandmother’s house. There, Cowo saw his uncle Pedro getting up from the ground. Pedro had a cut wound to the back of his head. 

Pan was transported to the San Ignacio town hospital and later to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Pan died as a result of the injuries 

The body now awaits a post-mortem examination.
