Lucia Luna in critical condition after Orange Walk shooting

By BBN Staff: Yesterday morning, BBN reported that there was a broad daylight murder in Orange Walk Town.

Jose Medina and his girlfriend Lucia Luna were walking home when a gunman opened fire at them.

During the gunfire, Medina was shot and killed while Luna was shot in the abdomen area and is now hospitalized in a critical condition.

The shooting is reportedly gang-related.

Medina is the fourth person who has been killed in that vicinity this year as a result of an ongoing gang rivalry.
