Stolen vehicle found scrapped in Rancho Dolores

By BBN Staff:  A 2007 KIA Sportage vehicle that was reported stolen on September 1, 2018, was found on October 10, 2018. The vehicle was stolen from Baymen Avenue, Belize City where it was parked.

However, there was barely anything left of the vehicle when police found it.

The vehicle was reportedly scrapped and only the frame was found.

All of the electrical parts were stolen and the owner of the KIA Sportage is advising the public to not purchase vehicle parts for a 2007 KIA Sportage.

The owner of the vehicle told Breaking Belize News that vehicle owners must take the necessary precautions to secure their vehicles from criminals: “The public is advised not to purchase vehicles with one key and not to park their vehicles in isolated areas.”

The assistance of the public is being sought to report anyone selling parts of this vehicle.
