German national raped and robbed

BBN Staff: Police are investigating a report of rape in the Cayo District.

A forty-four-year-old German woman told police that about 10 pm on October 12, she caught a ride on a motorcycle with a man after socializing.

The man was accompanied by two other men on another motorcycle.

She was then taken to a construction site against her will and robbed of her cellular phone valued at $240.

One of the men reportedly raped the woman.

Police are investigating.
