Belize National Team falls to Montserrat

By BBN Staff: Belize’s national football team fell to Montserrat over the weekend in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualification Tournament.

Montserrat player, Steven Daly, was able to score the only goal of the match at the 74th minute.

Despite various attempts, Belize’s Deon McCaulley and Jarret Davis were both unable to put the ball in the net.

And so as Belize settles at 15th place, Montserrat has moved into 20th place with both countries averaging 3 points.

Yet to move on to the Gold Cup, both countries will have to move to 10th place.

Belize’s next match will be at home against Puerto Rico in November.
