Police make no progress in murder of Julian Trapp, 21

By BBN Staff:  Police have not yet made any progress in the shooting death of Julian Trapp, 21.

On the night of October 11th, he was along with his brother, Armando Trapp, 27, and two other men inside a local bar when a gunman emerged from some nearby mangroves in San Pedro Town and fired several shots at their direction.

Julian Trapp passed away while Armando Trapp was treated and released.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police, Alejandro Cowo, “Police are still investigating this matter.”

However, he said that “It is a challenge because it was night time when it happened and the gunman came from a bushy area.”

He further revealed that Armando Trapp was interviewed but he was only able to provide little information.

Cowo confirmed that this incident is related to gangs fighting for drug turf on the island.
