Shooting victim passes away

By BBN Staff: Shooting victim, Kevin Thomas, 36, passed away this morning while receiving medical attention at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

Thomas had been fighting for his life since Monday night when he was shot in his head while at a Chinese shop near the Yabra bridge in Belize City.

The man who shot him was also shot by a Special Constable but remains hospitalized under police guard at the KHMH.

Thomas, according to police may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time since he is not a troubled individual.

He has been known for his years of selling raffles in his community.
