Teakettle villager charged for rape of German woman, 44

By BBN Staff: Teakettle villager, Sharn Evan Vanegas, 31, has been charged with the crime of rape.

His charges come after he and another man offered a forty-four-year-old German woman a ride from San Ignacio to Belmopan on Friday night.

However, instead of taking the woman to her destination, the men took her to a location in Teakettle village where they raped her.

While Vanegas has been charged, his co-accused is still being sought by authorities.
