Friend stabs friend 5 times in drunken rage

By BBN Staff: A friend is accused of stabbing his friend in a drunken rage on Saturday night.

According to police reports, just before 11 p.m. on Saturday night police were called to a bar in the Young Bank area of the Cayo District.

Upon arrival to the scene, officers saw Jose Gonzalez, 33, with five stab injuries to his body.

Investigations revealed that Gonzalez was drinking with his friend, Valentino Ramirez, at a bar in the village when an altercation ensued.

That was when he was stabbed by his friend who fled the scene and remains wanted by police.

Gonzalez remains in a stable condition at the Western Regional Hospital.
