Grocery store robbed in Belize City

BBN Staff: Belize City police are investigating a robbery report.

Mohammad Nasim Ahmed, 28, a Bangladeshi national and owner of United Grocery and Laundrymart on Euphrates Avenue, reported that around 7:45 p.m. he was inside the store when four men entered.

One of the men pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The culprits stole an undisclosed amount of cash in different denominations and cell phones.

Police are investigating.
