Man shot near Sadie Vernon High School

BBN Staff: This afternoon a man was shot in Belize City.

He has been identified as Tibruce Street resident, Jamie Williams, 21.

William’s was reportedly walking near Sadie Vernon Technical High School on Mahogany Street when he heard a gunshot. That was when he realized he had been shot in the right arm.

He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains admitted in a stable condition.

Police are investigating.
