Midtown Restaurant robbers get $25,000

BBN Staff: On Halloween night there was an armed robbery on Belize City’s northside.

The incident caught on camera showed that sometime around 6 p.m. two men entered Midtown Restaurant on Newton Barracks armed with a firearm.

The men robbed the establishment of almost $25,000, a cell phone and jewelry.

The men then escaped by running towards Baymen Avenue.

Police have not yet identified any suspects.
