By BBN Staff: The Taichung World Flora Exposition also known as the Flora Expo comes alive tomorrow in Taichung, Taiwan.
The Flora Expo is an international event that runs from November 3, 2018, to April 24, 2019. Taichung City is one of the main leading cities in Taiwan. Taichung boasts a vibrant industrial and cultural center.
The Taichung World Flora Exposition is recognized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) as an A2/B1 horticulture exposition.
This event will display to the world the hard work of Taiwan’s farmers, the thoughtfulness of the architects, the efforts of volunteers, and Taiwan’s hospitality.
Through the expo’s exquisite designs, visitors can be immersed in, and admire, a visual feast from nature with reminders of simple pleasures, creating moments of happiness in life.
The main concept is based on “Discover GNP: Green, Nature, and People”.
The total area is 60.88 hectares, and there will be four theme parks.
The expo also includes 4 sub-themes: Productivity, Life, Ecology and Biotechnology.
The sub-themes are presented in four areas, which are Houli Horse Ranch Area, Forest Park Area, Waipu Yongfeng Park Area, and Fongyuan Huludun Park Area.
The parks highlight ecological conservation, production in a natural setting promoted as the homeland of flower and fruits and the illustration of the joy of life in the riverbank flora city that is also known for its pastry culture.
This year’s expo is expecting some 8 million visitors with the focus on creating a sustainable environment for its citizens.
