Police say reports of missing cocaine is ‘Fake News’

Posted: Tuesday, November 6, 2018. 7:32 am CST.

BBN Staff: Several media houses yesterday reported that 2 kilos of cocaine, busted by police last week, went missing while in police custody.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, yesterday denied the reports and said that the cocaine is intact, ” I can assure you that all the drugs that were recovered are in police custody. None have gone missing.”

After the forensic department officially confirm the drug to be cocaine, the police will apply to proceed with destruction of the 1,052 pounds of cocaine.
