UNDP donates GPS to Police Department

BBN Staff:  Yesterday, the Ministry of National Security received 37 Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS). GPS is a U.S.-owned utility that provides users with positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services.

The devices were donated by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Police officers will use the devices at checkpoints, searches, and patrols.

They will also receive training on handling the devices courtesy of the UNDP.
