By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a house fire that occurred in Bladden Village, Southern Belize.
Juan Perez,69, told police that on November 1, 2018, he left his home en route to Belmopan.
When he returned home on November 7, 2018, his 12×8 foot wooden home had been completely destroyed by fire.
Perez stated to police that the house did not have any electricity.
The total cost of the house and its contents are valued at $5,000.00.
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
Police investigations continue.
