By BBN Staff: Earlier this week the robbery of Tai Fu store in San Martin, Belmopan, was caught on camera.

However, an official police report has not yet been made and so police are yet to commence investigation.

In an interview with the press, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvett, confirmed that police responded to the robbery in which a Creole descent man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding the shop owner at gunpoint.

Myvett revealed that investigators have been unable to gather any other information as the shop owner is not cooperating and has not made any official report.

According to him, police are looking for the man caught on the camera and in the absence of a complaint they hope to simply recover the gun used in this incident.
