Grocery store robbed at gunpoint in Independence Village

BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night in Independence Village, Stann Creek.

The owner of Jian Store on Fadden avenue reported that around 7:16 last night, he was inside the store when 4 masked men entered his establishment.

One of the men had a small gun and pointed it at him and then took $600 cash, 1 iphone valued at $2000, and a chain valued at $1000.

All items to a total value of $3,600.

Police investigation continues.
