Dr. Simeon Coc wins UDP Toledo West convention

By BBN Staff: Today the United Democratic Party (UDP) held a convention to elect the standard bearer for the Toledo West constituency.

Estevan Coc garnered 13 votes, Sylvia Hulse collected 68 votes and Senator Macario Coy gathered 1,281.

In the end, Dr. Simeon Coc emerged victorious with 1,504 votes.

With 16 rejected votes there were 2,882 votes cast in this election.

Dr. Coc will face People’s United Party candidate Oscar Requena, who is currently serving his second term in office.
