Two arrested for fake US notes in Placencia

BBN Staff: Placencia police have detained two men for questioning regarding circulation of counterfeit US notes. Last night, police received information from several business establishments on the peninsula that two men of Creole decent visited their business establishment and made a purchase using US $20 notes. The proprietors later found out that the notes were not genuine. Police investigations led to the discovery of several counterfeit notes all bearing the same serial number: MD42596339.

Police have two persons detained and are seeking a third individual in connection with this incident.
