UDP’s Denny Grijalva wins convention for Orange Walk Central

By BBN Staff: Today the United Democratic Party (UDP) held its standard bearer
convention for Orange Walk Central.

In the end, former standard bearer, Denny Grijalva Cruz was re-elected. He received 984 votes.

In second place was Evan Williams with 476 votes.

Yvette Liu-Torres ranked third with 433 votes. With only 12 rejected ballots, there was a total of 1,905 votes tallied.

Cruz will face off with the undefeated John Briceno who is the leader
of the Opposition.
