The operation commenced last Tuesday and concluded on Saturday inside the Columbia Forest Reserve in the Toledo District.
There, officers located a weed field measuring 100ft by 75ft with about 2,000 mature plants averaging about 5ft in height.
A further search of the immediate area resulted in the discovery of a hut with food, clothes, and other household items.
Additionally, 5 pounds of marijuana packaged for distribution and 2 pounds of weed seeds of different grade were also discovered.
The plants were uprooted, cut, and burn along with the hut.
No one was found in the area at the time and so no charges were levied.
