Man charged for murder in Belmopan

BBN Staff: Today Belmopan police arrested and charged, Elquine Hernandez, 27, with the murder of Jermain Sanker.

Last Monday Sanker was found dead inside a rented car in the Salvapan area of Belmopan.

He had been shot in the face.

While police have not yet established the motive for his death, it was assumed the murder was drug-related.

Police confirmed to the media that Sanker was busted in April of this year with twenty-two parcels of compressed marijuana.
