Police investigating fire that destroyed home in Belize City

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating a fire that destroyed a home yesterday morning in Belize City.

Around 8:15 am, yesterday, police went to Plues Street where they saw a 30 ft by 30 ft- 2 storey building engulfed in flames.

According to reports, Brian Neal left home at 8 am to visit his neighbor. When he returned home, he found his house up in flames.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.

The house was valued at $75,000.00.

Police are investigating.
