BELTRAIDE hosts 4th Annual National Entrepreneurship Convention

By BBN Staff: Today, the Belize Trade & Investment Development Services (BELTRAIDE) through its Small Business Development Center, Belize (SBDCBelize) will gather with international speakers, members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, students, and the general public to host the 4th Annual National Entrepreneurship Convention (EntreCon) 2018.

EntreCon 2018 is being hosted under the theme “Knowledge Transfer and Innovation: Drivers of Competitiveness”.

Entrecon was designed to create a platform for bringing together key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem with the purpose of sharing idea, creating awareness of existing and new business and investment opportunities, promoting innovation and building an entrepreneurship culture.

The highlight of the event will include remarks and discussions to participants by key government officials, field experts, local entrepreneurs, and international speakers on:

  • Building Competitiveness Through Knowledge Transfer
  • Business Models- Growth, Performance and Internalization
  • Opportunity Generation and Early Business Development

This year, BELTRAIDE also partnered with Galen University and Digi to offer a scholarship to Galen University valued at $30,000.00 which will be raffled during the event.

EntreCon 2018 will be held at the Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel starting at 9 am and will be followed by a Poolside Networking Mixer at 4:30 pm.

The public is invited to attend.
