By BBN Staff: A lecture series on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) is being organized by the Consortium of the University of Belize and the Social Sector Senators.
The lecture series will be hosted tonight at 7:30 at the Sacred Heart College Auditorium in San Ignacio.
The lecture will feature three presentations, including Ambassador Alexis Rosado from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/International Boundaries Unit presenting on “The Facts of the Claim”; Assad Shoman, Author of “Guatemala’s Claim to Belize: the Definitive History”; and Paul Morgan of the Belize Peace Movement who will present the “No to ICJ” position.
All residents are invited to join the forum tonight and learn more about the reasons why Belize should vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to the ICJ.
