By BBN Staff: Two men were shot in San Ignacio Town early Sunday morning.
According to police reports, around 3:35 am Sunday, police went to Hudson Street in San Ignacio where they saw Christopher Hudson of Belize City suffering from gunshot injuries.
Police also saw San Ignacio resident, Jermaine Pandy with gunshot wounds to his elbow.
Nomar Zelaya of Esperanza was also at the scene.
Investigations revealed that Zelaya had an altercation with both Hudson and Pandy which resulted in Zelaya pulling out his firearm and firing the shots at both men.
Zelaya has since been detained pending the outcome of the investigation.
