Kentroy McKoy, 20, arraigned for murder of “Tazzy”

By BBN Staff:Belize City cops have charged one man in connection with themurder of Arthur “Tazzy” Flowers, 44. 

The accused is Kentroy McKoy, 20.

On Friday McKoy was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford in Belize City on one count of murder. No plea was taken and he was remanded to the Hattieville Prison until February 20, 2019.

 On Monday afternoon Flowers was seated at the corner of Handyside and Queen Streets waiting to wash a vehicle. That was when a man exited a Dodge Neon and shot him in the head before fleeing the scene.

Reports to BBN is that the vehicle had parked on Handyside Street where gang members of the Majestic Alley gang reside.

However, when the gang members failed to show up, Flowers became the target.

We note that McKoy was born and raised in Majestic Alley and allegedly joined the George Street Gang in 2016.
