NTUCB holds executive election

y BBN Staff:  This National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) elected a new executive over the weekend.

This was to commemorate its 52nd Annual General Meeting.

Marvin Mora, from the Belize Energy Workers Union (BEWU) was re-elected President.

Clifford Martinez from the Public Service Union (PSU) was elected  First Vice President.

Lorelei Westby from the Belize Water Services Workers Union (BWSWU) was elected Second Vice President.

Patrick Balan from the BEWU was elected General Secretary.

Miguel Aguilar from the Belize Workers Union (BWU) was elected the Assistant General Secretary.

Jorge Meija from the Belize National Teachers Union (BNTU) was elected Treasurer.

Finally, Ella Waight from the Christian Workers Union (CWU) was elected Assistant Treasurer.

This new executive will remain in office over the next two years.
