Police: No confirmation that Milo Paz died in plane crash

Posted: Tuesday, December 11, 2018. 9:38 am CST.

y BBN Staff: On Friday, Mrs. Ermijines Paz of San Pedro town reported that her husband, Jose “Milo” Paz departed San Pedro on October 3, 2018 to do some business in Guatemala.

She told police that she took him to San Pedro airstrip and that was
the last time she saw him.

According to her, they communicated until October 7. Since then she
has not heard from him.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Alejandro Cowo agreed that news of Paz’s death in a plane crash had been widely reported in the Belizean media.

However, he indicated that the matter has not been confirmed by authorities in Guatemala or Panama.

And so without any credible confirmation from either countries, Paz’s
family remains hopeful.
