By BBN Staff:  A vehicle that was reported stolen was found burnt near  Hattieville on Saturday.

Lisa Stanford, 41, told police that on Friday night she parked her 2015 vehicle in the vicinity of Chateau Caribbean and went out with friends.

However, when she returned the vehicle had disappeared.

It was not until around 8:00 a.m. the next day that the vehicle was found extensively damaged by fire.

According to police, the vehicle was not stolen for parts as investigations revealed that the vehicle and all its parts were intact.

Stanford told police that she had no prior conflict with anyone that would compel them to damage her vehicle.

This vehicle was valued at 45,000.
