Belize Police in communication with Guatemalan authorities about suspected murder who fled to Guatemala

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department has contacted their counterparts in Guatemala in connection with the murder of Guatemalan national,Demas Choc.

Last Friday Choc was chopped to death in Cristo Rey,Cayo by Hilberto Itche who suspected that he had an intimate relationship with his wife.

Police believe that Itche has since fled back home to Guatemala.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvett, Guatemalan authorities have been informed about this incident and have committed to providing assistance to bring Itche to justice.
