Corozal House of Culture hosts Children’s Comparsa workshop

y BBN Staff:CThe National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) through the Museum of Belize and the Corozal House of Culture is inviting children ages 8 to 13 to participate in the Corozal House of Culture’s “Juan Carnaval Comparsa Workshop”.

This fun, exciting, and lively workshop will engage children in dance and song and will use Belizean folklore as the theme with a modern twist.

The comparsa groups will then present at “Juan Carnaval” in early March 2019.

The workshop begins today, Monday, December 17 and runs until Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

Children will be supervised from 9 am to 12 noon and 1 to 3 pm.
