2 men charged for cannabis cultivation and unlicensed gun

By BBN Staff: Police have detained and charged two men for cannabis cultivation and an unlicensed gun.

According to reports, yesterday morning, police conducted a search in Lords Bank Village in the Belize District.

Police found (1) .22 K-62 PAT-Ten brand handgun with black handle, S/N-CR0305 and (1) suspected cannabis plant at a residence in the village.

Edward Ferguson and Erwin Lanza were present at the time of the search.

As a result, both men were arrested and charged for keeping a firearm without a gun license and for the cultivation of cannabis.
