Corozal minor charged for drug trafficking

By BBN Staff:A minor from Corozal has been charged for drug trafficking.

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, police searched a 16-year-old minor of Hermelinda Layout and found 224 grams of suspected cannabis.

 Police then escorted the minor to his house and a search was also conducted at his residence in the presence of his mother which led to the discovery of 1,866 grams of suspected cannabis.

 The minor has since been arrested and charged for two counts of drug trafficking.
