David Diaz, 22, shot yesterday; Police investigating

y BBN Staff:A man is lucky to be alive after he was shot yesterday evening.

He has been identified as David Dennis Diaz, 22.

According to police reports, he was at the corner of Staines Alley and the Belize Corozal Road when a man walked up to him and opened fire.

In the process, he was shot in the left leg.

He is currently listed in a stable condition at the Northern Regional Hospital.

Police are investigating.
