Police issue official report on shooting incident near George Street in Belize City

By BBN Staff:Belize City police have issued an official report on a shooting incident in George Street Gang territory last night.

The statement reveals that at around 8:00 pm police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Glenford Mossiah, 45, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his left upper shoulder and other parts of the body.

The statement says that he is admitted in a stable condition.

Initial investigation revealed that he was socializing along with others in front of “wax house” on East Canal in Belize City. That was when a silver BT Cruiser car approached them. Occupants from inside the car fired several shots in their direction causing the injuries to Mossiah.

The car then sped off and is now being sought by police.
