Community clean up in Conch Shell Bay

By BBN Staff: Today, Officer Commanding Region One, Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett and his team conducted a community cleanup in the area of Conch Shell Bay in Belize city.

Joining them for the clean-up were 25 police cadets and their parents. 

Gillett says that the purpose is to teach cadets civic pride. 

“The intent of the community cleanup was to teach the Cadets civic pride, continue fostering a better relationship with the community, and for participants and residents to take ownership of their community in a positive manner,” Gillett said.
