Police find gun and drugs on Jasmine street

By BBN Staff:Just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday, police were on mobile patrol on Jasmine street in Belize city. 

During that time, cops conducted searches in a bushy area. 

That search led to the discovery of two bags. 

One bag contained 110.73 grams of suspected cannabis while the other contained nine live .9mm rounds of AGUILA brand ammunition.  

No one was in the area at the time of the search, and as a result, all items were labeled as found property.
