Man shot while playing basketball

BBN Staff: A man was reportedly shot in Belize City this morning.

He has been identified as Malik Green, 18.

Information to BBN is that the Georgeville villager was near Hunter’s Lane when he was shot in the leg.

He told investigators that at the time of the incident, he was playing basketball and did not see who shot at him.

He has since been hospitalized and is listed in a stable condition.
