Father and son charged for cocaine possession

BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged a father and son from Corozal town who were busted with cocaine.

Around noon yesterday, police conducted a search for illegal weapons at the home of Michael Nugent.

Present at the time were Michael Nugent Sr, 36, and Michael Nugent Jr. 18.

Inside a bedroom, police found 2.2 grams of cocaine.

Michael Nugent Sr. and Jr. were formally arrested and charged for the offense of ‘drug trafficking’.
