Belize Police Department: No official announcement on reshuffling

BBN Staff: A memo was leaked to the media today with an alleged list of changes in the hierarchy of the Belize Police Department.

After the information was published by several Belize houses including BBN, the Belize Police Department’s Press Office issued a statement informing that the new Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Chester Williams has made no such announcement of any changes within the department.

However, the statement said that the new COMPOL will make an official announcement next week.
