Man stabbed after argument over a phone

BBN Staff: Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred last night in Ladyville Village in the Belize District.

This morning, police went to the KHMH and saw Abraham Leslie suffering from stab wounds to his stomach and back.

Police investigation reveals that last night, Leslie was socializing in Ladyville when he met a known man and they later had an argument over a phone.

The man thereafter followed Leslie who walked away and stabbed him twice.

Leslie remains in a critical condition at the hospital.

Police are investigating.
