By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health in collaboration with United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and partner agencies have been working together to develop a National Adolescent Health Strategy Plan.
Two national and four district consultations were conducted with the participation of 233 adolescents in 2018.
This week, UNICEF and the Ministry of Health is hosting a workshop to propose and discuss the provision of services for adolescents and detail a Monitoring and Evaluation plan for the health strategy plan.
The workshop will also strengthen the multi-sectoral collaboration among all sectors, as the health of adolescents is itself dependent on many factors reaching far beyond the health sector.
